Many of my friends would say … I have great passion for life, never stop smiling, am blessed to be a mum and believe so much that WE create our own reality. Hmm, would I say the same, yes I probably would!
I am blessed to have the energy of four children in my life: two wonderful daughters – Vicki and Sophie and for the last 15 years two great stepsons – Ryan and Will. It was a bit hectic at the beginning, but we now seem to be a very successful blended family. They are all in their twenty’s (well almost) living and working in London where we regularly catch up together and have fun!
I have spent most of my adult life married to the British Army, moving around the world, supporting my husband and family and meeting new people. In the early days I found this all rather overwhelming, not being born into a military environment, and sometimes hard; but with amazing spiritual words from my mother – she is known as a White Witch by her grandchildren – kind friends and learning to step back and not engage, it all got better and better.
These skills and others helped me re-find my joy of life, joy of travel and joy of new experiences – boy have there been many!
During this journey I was lucky enough to run my own design training business which meant wherever we lived I always had a job and a chance to reinvent myself. I am now living in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia with my gorgeous husband Peter, where we are part of a country changing and growing in front of our own eyes.
